Each SAM7SF receiver is expertly milled from a hot-die hammer-forged blank by Arsenal Co. of Bulgaria. Unlike standard milled-receiver AKs that are machined from bar stock, Arsenal’s hot-die hammer forging process creates stronger, finer-grained steel, eliminating internal voids and cooling deformations through a 5-ton hammer forging process.
